Excellent students applying at Université Grenoble Alpes (UGA) and registering in the Master in Chemistry can apply for funding through different opportunities:

  • Eiffel scholarships are opened for one or two-year master programs. Applications can only be done through Université Grenoble Alpes and calls are typically opened each year from mid-october to mid-december in the year preceding your admission. Please contact the teacher in charge of the program of your interest (see the program section) or the International office of the department. Results are usually known by end of march.
  • UGA Foundation scholarships are opened for excellent foreign students that will register in one of the Master 2 programs in Chemistry at UGA and that are highly motivated to continue with a PhD program in one of the research labs of Grenoble affiliated with UGA. Calls are typically opened each year until march preceding the school year.
  • UGA Idex scholarships are offered to excellent students registering in the Master in Chemistry that come from foreign universities, with a priority to partner universities. This grant of 5000 euros will be awarded in june after ranking of the applicant by a selection committee with a priority to students registering at the M2 level. To know more, contact the coordinator of the specific program that you are interested in or the International office of the department.
  • Some master-study fellowships are country specific (Pakistan, Syria), for these we advice you to investigate the Campus France website.
